To keep students abreast with the latest and most advanced contemporary domains of international level a guest lecture on “Possibilities of Higher Studies and Career in Europe.” was organized by Amity System of communication Enhancement and Transformation (ASCENT) on March 19,2015. Silvia Costantini- the First Counsellor of European Union Delegation and the key speaker of the occasion, laid emphasis on the impact of globalization in the ever changing scenario of advanced studies. The lecture preceded by a warm welcome of the guests by Brig. G.S. Rathore (OSD to Hon’ble Chancellor) with presentation of mementos to the revered guests. Mrs. Sunita Choudhary, Coordinator Rajasthan Vidhan Sabha was heartily touched by the warm welcome of the Amity fraternity and epilogued to look forward for regular organizations of such intellectual events. The students enthusiastically participated in questionnaire session raising queries regarding scope of higher studies in Europe. The entire program was coordinated by Mrs Jasbeen Chawla, Assistant Director, ASCENT. Nearly 150 students got benefitted through this lecture. The programme concluded by the vote of thanks given by Brig. Rathore. The lecture has proven to be very inspiring and informative for the students.

A Project on “Development of Nano- Immuno Rapid Test to detect Mycobacterium Avium Subspecies Paratuberculosis in Milk Samples” was launched at Amity University Jaipur on 6th February 2015.The event was organized by AIMT and was attended by all the Students and Faculty Members of AIB,AIMT & ABS. Prof.S.V. Singh, Principal Scientist, Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi was the Guest of Honour at the Event.

National Conference on Foreign Languages on February 20, 2015 at Amity University Jaipur
On February 20, 2015 Amity School of languages (ASL) at Amity University Jaipur, organized National Conference on Foreign Languages: Strategies, Methodologies, Innovation in Language Education SMILE 2015. The Conference provided a special occasion where a part of the fraternity of foreign languages in India came together to deliberate upon the very timely issue of the relevance of foreign language studies in the context of rapid globalization and how new strategies, methodologies and innovations are necessary to adapt the language pedagogy to the new challenges. Among the eminent speakers and panelists there were Prof. Asha Pande former Head of the Department of Foreign Language Department at the University of Rajasthan, Prof Abhijit Karkun Chairperson and professor at the Centre for French and francophone studies, Jawharlal Nehru University, New Delhi . Dr. Swarnendu Bakshi, Head of the Dept of French at IIS University, Jaipur, Dr. Geeta Kochhar, Teacher of Chinese language and literature at JNU, Mr. Nabiel Ansari and Mr. Gourav kumar, teachers at the Centre for Spanish studies, JNU. There were participants from other Amity universities like Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Amity University Mumbai as well. Foreign Language Faculties from Jaipur also attended the conference.
The plenary session was followed by interactive sessions between the speakers and the students and interactions between scholars themselves. There were discussions regarding the current scenario and promises for foreign language education in India and the new challenges thrown to the traditional pedagogy. The concluding session was animated by the cultural programme by the students of Amity University Jaipur.
A Book Exhibition Cum Sale by Goyal Publishers was organized on the premises of Amity University Jaipur as well on that day.
